What this app does
Margivo connects to your Shopify store and advertising platforms (Meta, Google) to calculate your store's profit: revenue minus product costs, shipping costs and advertising spend.
Data we collect
From your Shopify store, we sync:
- Order financial data: order numbers, dates, totals, discounts, taxes, shipping charges and refund amounts
- Line items: product and variant identifiers, titles, quantities and prices
- Store metadata: store name, currency and contact email (used to create your account)
We do not collect or store customer personal information: no customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or shipping addresses are synced or retained.
From connected ad platforms we store daily, campaign-level spend and performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks).
How data is stored and secured
- Data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) with row-level security, so each account can only access its own stores' data.
- Platform access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).
- Data is transmitted exclusively over HTTPS.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. Data is processed only to provide the profit analytics shown to you in the app.
Data retention and deletion
- When you uninstall the app from Shopify, syncing stops immediately and all data obtained from your store is deleted within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's mandatory data deletion requirements.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support.
- Facebook / Meta data: disconnecting Facebook Ads in the app (or removing Margivo from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites) deletes the stored access token and all advertising data we synced from your ad account. Removing the app on Facebook triggers our automated data deletion callback, and you will receive a confirmation code with a status page you can visit to verify the deletion. You can also email us to request deletion manually.
